my humble beginning (my directorial debut). 4 commercial spots for the marketing campaign launch of Wellspring. no budget so i'm pretty satisfied - actually damn proud. and thx to my current employer for giving me this opportunity.

man - nice to come across this video again - and i won't deny it, i'm a metallica fan - but this song and video is on another level. great piece -amazing use of movie footage to help tell the story. directing - song-writing - musicianship - and can anyone repetitiously bang drums as fast as Lars Ulrich (also a former tennis prodigy)

so my mentee (me the mentor) came up with this lil' piece of design he seems to think is hot. ahh - it's hot!
reminds me of hitchcock movie titles/posters.
maybe one day my student will be able to match the skills of his master... one day - brahahah.

*note: so his name is navin, aka dj tonka aka papa boogaloo (my dj partner on our radio show, stolensouls) and he's actually taught me alot of the programs needed to design and animate - so really, thanks to him

impressive. this scandinavian guy who goes by pistachio has created something magical and i believe the majority of it was created manipulating trapcode plugins for after effects.

love the simplicity of the beginning text treatment too - the soft edges, and the font is friggin cool. *TRON. this is a talented guy.
